Upon his return from the golf course, Bert was distressed to find that Benjii had sprayed paint all over the side of the neigbours dwelling. The Butler's would be financially responsible for the damages caused through Benji's Negligence |
v) The Injury or damage arose out of the duties of employment in the parent's business. |
When parents employ their children in their business, they shall be responsible for any injury or damage caused to others arising out of such employment. |

A neighbour of the Butler's has a landscaping business. His 13-year-old son works with him on weekends. Last weekend, the boy lost control of the wheel loader he was operating and before it could be stopped, two newly planted spruce trees had been destroyed and a corner of customer's dwelling severely damaged. The boy's father would be financially responsible for all the damage caused. |
